The house is well designed with thoughtful details, great amenities and a very welcoming & cozy atmosphere. Its a great location and not too far to go North to Grand Marais, West to the boundary waters, South to Split Rock, etc. You even get a peek at Lake Superior from the vast view of the windows. We had a great relaxing time at Ham House."

  • "Ham’s Haus was a perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. The house is nestled in a heavily wooded area with floor to ceiling windows allowing bright light and unobstructed views of the forest and Lake Superior in the distance. The interior is just like the pictures - modern and with smart appliances. You can tell that they put thought into the design of the house from the inside out. I especially liked the fenced in potty area for my dog, and the front porch with retractable screens to keep the bugs out. Also, there are heated floors and a built in speaker system! Claire and Jenner were very responsive, especially given that they were on their honeymoon. The house guide was super helpful too. We come up North every year and know all the trails. This time we just did short outings and spent most of our time relaxing at Ham’s Haus. Thanks again! Would definitely recommend. 👍🏻"
